1st Chapter is with the vetters

Well my dear friends, today I sent the first chapter off to the vetting team, a team of 11 people that will be reviewing all my work before it is published. In 2 weeks you will be able to read the first chapter, watch the video of the chapter, and listen to in audiobook format. Thank you for your prayers, and please keep praying.

Had a challenging few months, that’s for sure. I moved my entire diet over to a 95% raw foods diet, am now eating some powerful foods, and rebuilding what was clearly a weakened immune response that lead to 3 flus, one just killer, and one other throat thingy – hard to explain. Not sure how that happened – my diet was already excellent. Anyway, feeling great, and losing the 20 odd lbs I picked up over the years :) Put some road tires on my mountain bike, and yes it now looks very odd :) With the warmer weather I am riding as much as possible. Thank you all for your prayers, they mean a lot.
Yeshua’s Zoe is right on track. It has taken many twists and turn that have allowed me to see so clearly how God is able to use the trials we go through for good. What started out as just a video series will now be a book and small-group resources as well. And the way I am writing it and will be presenting it has changed too, from being just a factual thing, to being more about unraveling the narrative of the life of Jesus.
In doing this massive project, it’s wiped out my savings, completely, as I am spending so much time just studying, reading, writing, etc., that my income has dropped to actually zero this month. That’s not happened before. If you believe in what I’m doing, consider supporting me. All donations are tax deductible in the US. If you can’t give of your finances, please pray that the Lord would bless me with work, or people that will step up and support me as I put together and release this enormous project that will tell many about the real Jesus. I am about to finalize the first chapter, and this will be sent out to 6 people that are vetting all my work. While they vet it, I will be writing the next chapter. I then receive their feedback, make changes if needed, and record the video for that chapter. The video is then edited, made to look nice with images and other video added. The video is then bundled with the chapter which is still considered a rough draft at this point, some questions added for small-group use, and that is then made available for $1.99 a week before the video hits the web at large. And this process will continue for about 2 years. So, come partner with me if you feel you can get behind this with me. I don’t really expect to make any money of the sales of the videos when I am putting them online for free as well. Most will just wait a week for the free one.
The first video will be released on the web Mid-May.

In writing copious notes for each lesson, it become clear very quickly that I could not possibly share all that I am learning in each video. So I have decided to publish a book at the end of this journey, or perhaps 2, one halfway, and the other at the end. Either way, it’ll be a large, but I hope exciting read. This isn’t putting my other book on hold, see: http://IWantToBeHoly.com , but it may delay it a little. I will have a new page up soon where you can sign up to be notified of the books progress and publication.

Well, I have not been this sick in many many years. 2 flus, one after another, 2 weeks apart. Really knocked me around. Today is the first day that I am feeling better than the day before. Looks like this is going to be a 2-week recovery deal. But, as from tomorrow, I should be able to dive back into study, get this first lesson shot, and then get it online. I expect to have this done by Monday. The following video will be Wednesday-week after that, and then, God willing, each Wednesday after that.

Our adversary, the devil...

Many might think it’s coincidence, I tend to think that we have a real enemy, satan, that wants to stop, at all costs, the message of the good news of Yeshua from getting out. Just after I recorded the intro video, I got a flu that lasted a week. As a health nut, I am taking massive amounts of Vit D to fight it off, but I felt my immune system really getting challenged, hard. Then, as the flu began clearing up, I am being attacked by yet another virus that is this time attacking my throat and my mind, putting me in a fog, and stopping me from being able to speak. I wanted to start this video series this Wed, but it looks like I will not be able to do so short of Yeshua healing me before Tuesday night - the last night I would have to record for a Wed release. So, please be praying for me!

Also, no doubt you noticed that demo notice popping up on the site. If my viewers could help me with covering a couple of costs, that would be really nice.

Right now I need $18 for this theme, and another $60 to buy a Vimeo Pro account so I can upload better quality videos to Vimeo.

I created this simple chipin so you can help. I added $6 to cover the PayPal fees that they will remove from what you send. Much thanks.

Oh oh, I guess people are already visiting my new website, and I have not finished it :) So please excuse the fresh paint - stop, yeah don’t sit there. Hey, I just hope that you’ll join me as I take a walk through the life of Yeshua (Jesus) in chronological order. Many years ago the Lord told me that He was going to teach me about the Hebrew/Jewish roots of my faith. About 5 years ago now, that journey began. Today, the more I discover about our awesome God, the more I realize how little I really do know about God. Every day is fresh and alive as the Ruach (Spirit) teaches me more and more. It’s exciting! So don’t be coming here thinking that because my name is Israel, that I know all of this stuff. All I am really doing is sharing with you what I learn each week. Some things I know well, but much of what you’ll hear is fresh to me as it will likely be to you too. Well, here’s my intro video. Take a look!
